Training guide: how your player develops
Training is the engine of your career. Here is every part that decides how fast your attributes grow.
Club training
The club trains daily according to the coach's philosophy, and part of the session is driven by the position you play. Minutes on the pitch decide how much you take from the week.
Personal focus and daily decisions
Your personal focus and the daily decisions land straight on your attributes. Outcomes range from poor to exceptional, so the same choice can pay differently.
What speeds training up
- Being young — development is fastest early and slows past 30.
- A higher division — players in higher leagues develop faster.
- Good staff and a strong relationship with the coach.
- High energy and low fatigue; injuries stop development entirely.
- National team call-ups give a big boost.
Routine
Routine cannot be trained. It only builds from matches played and is balanced so a regular starter peaks around the age of 32.
